Adventure
Hollow Lantern
★★★★★ 4.6
Hollow Lantern is a quiet, atmospheric adventure that unfolds across a crumbling lighthouse and the caves below. You explore by tapping to move and examine, piecing together what happened to the people who lived there through notes, objects, and a few eerie sounds.
The puzzles are woven into the environment rather than dropped in as abstract boxes. One that stuck with me involved aligning the lighthouse's old lenses using reflections you'd spotted hours earlier. It made me feel clever rather than stumped.
The pacing is slow in a good way. There's no combat, no timers, just you, a handheld lamp, and a mystery that genuinely pays off at the end.
